Built with SimulexUS™ self-healing tissue, the model replicates the acoustic properties and tactile response of human anatomy—making it ideal for learning, practicing, or maintaining proficiency in a safe, controlled environment.

This lightweight and economical trainer includes three distinct abscess fluid pockets ranging in size from 1.5 cm to 5 cm, each offering a different level of procedural complexity. The largest pocket is positioned just beneath the surface to support entry-level training, while smaller, deeper abscesses require advanced navigation around rib structures, challenging even experienced users.

The model is prefilled with clear simulated fluid and features a QuickFill™ tube that connects all three abscess cavities, allowing for fast and easy refills between sessions. Fluid is expelled during drainage procedures, providing real-time feedback and reinforcing proper technique.

Compatible with any ultrasound system using a high-frequency linear probe (5.0–12 MHz recommended), this trainer is excellent for simulation centers, clinical training programs, emergency departments, and bedside ultrasound education.
