The Bersa TPR9C (Thunder Pro Redesign Compact) is the modernized evolution of the Thunder 9 Pro series. It is a hammer-fired, metal-framed pistol designed specifically for law enforcement backup and civilian concealed carry. While it maintains the rugged mechanical lineage of previous Bersa service pistols, the TPR9C features several tactical and ergonomic refinements.

Key Design Elements

• TPR Evolution: The "TPR" designation stands for Thunder Pro Redesign. Key improvements over the older Pro series include a sleeker, lightened slide with more aggressive serrations for better manipulation and a thinner, more ergonomic grip profile.

• Fully Ambidextrous: One of the most notable features in its price class is the completely ambidextrous control suite, including the slide catch, manual safety/decocker, and a reversible magazine release.

• Sighting System: The TPR9C uses a standardized sight dovetail compatible with aftermarket Sig Sauer type sights, allowing for a wide variety of customization options for night sights or fiber optics.

• Action and Trigger: It operates on a traditional Double-Action/Single-Action (DA/SA) system. The redesign features an improved trigger with a noticeably shorter and crisper reset compared to earlier generations.

• Safety & Reliability: The pistol utilizes a Browning-Petter locking system for reliable feeding and includes a loaded chamber indicator, an internal firing pin safety, and Bersa’s Integral Locking System.
