The TASER C2 is a consumer-grade, less-lethal self-defense tool designed for personal protection. It utilizes the same "Shaped Pulse" technology found in law enforcement models but is packaged in a small, non-threatening form factor that resembles a TV remote or a small flashlight rather than a traditional firearm.
Neuro Muscular Incapacitation (NMI): The device fires two probes attached to insulated wires, delivering an electrical signal that overrides the central nervous system. This causes involuntary muscle contractions, physically incapacitating an attacker regardless of pain tolerance or drug/alcohol influence.
Range and Cycle: It has a maximum range of 15 feet. Upon deployment, it delivers a continuous 30-second electrical cycle. This "Safe Escape" feature is designed to allow the user to set the device down and flee to safety while the attacker remains incapacitated.
Anti-Felon Identification (AFID): To discourage misuse, every time a cartridge is fired, it disperses 20–30 microscopic "confetti" tags printed with the cartridge's serial number, allowing law enforcement to trace the device to its registered owner.
Safety and Activation: The C2 features a sliding safety cover that protects the trigger. Once pushed back, it activates an integrated LED flashlight and a laser sight for target acquisition.
Direct Contact Backup: If the probes miss or the user is in a close-quarters struggle, the front of the device can be used as a "drive-stun" tool by pressing it directly against the target.
