It may be possible for someone to contract the COVID-19 virus through touching an infected surface and then directly transferring it to their body by touching their mouth, nose and/or eyes. Diligently cleaning high traffic areas and disinfecting well used surfaces such as countertops and door handles at regular intervals can reduce the chances of the virus being transmitted.
