Our best selling gown is made with a custom manufactured waterproof tricot fabric. The fabric manufacturer made this particular fabric specifically for medical professionals. The manufacturer has made materials for level 4 gowns in the past that have received FDA approval. The gown that we are shipping is made for level 1 use only but the fabric is a hybrid that could potentially be used for higher levels of protection. The custom waterproof tricot fabric can NOT go through a washing machine. It can however be wiped down with a disinfectant cloth and used repeatedly. Most hospitals are ordering this particular fabric because they prefer the added level of protection and the value of being able to reuse the garment. The gowns with the waterproof tricot fabric cost $19.95 for size XL and $29.95 for size 3XL/4XL. (The 3XL/4XL is actually one garment made for professionals that are either 4XL or smaller.) The reason for the additional price for the 3XL/4XL is the fabric for each garment is literally doubled from the size XL.

We realize that our waterproof gowns are a slightly higher initial investment than some others but the return on investment will be far greater and the added protection is superior for the medical professionals wearing the gowns.
