The CPR in Schools® with First Aid Training Kit empowers educators, school staff, and community leaders to teach lifesaving CPR, AED, and first aid skills using a flexible, easy-to-deliver training program designed for school environments. Updated to reflect the latest science from the 2025 Guidelines Update for CPR and Emergency Cardiovascular Care (CPR & ECC) and the 2024 Guidelines for First Aid, the program helps students gain the confidence and skills needed to recognize and respond to emergencies when every second counts.
The updated kit includes enhanced instructional resources, engaging video-based learning, improved facilitator support materials, and current evidence-based content covering CPR, AED use, choking relief, bleeding control, and other essential first aid topics. The program also introduces concepts that support Cardiac Emergency Response Plan (CERP) awareness, helping schools understand the importance of coordinated preparedness and response to sudden cardiac arrest and other medical emergencies on campus.
Designed so that a layperson can successfully facilitate training, the kit can be taught in a single class period for groups of up to 20 students and is intended to be reused repeatedly, making it an effective and sustainable solution for building a culture of safety and preparedness within schools.
