80-Person Shelter-in-Place Survival Kit
Prepare your workplace, school, facility or organization for extended emergency
conditions with this large-group shelter-in-place kit. Emergency food, packaged
drinking water, water-treatment supplies, first aid equipment, sanitation
supplies, lighting, protective equipment and emergency tools are organized
inside a heavy-duty 95-gallon rolling bin for centralized
storage and easier transport.
This kit is designed as an emergency-preparedness solution for up to
80 people. Because emergency needs vary by facility and event,
organizations should incorporate this kit into a broader emergency plan that
also addresses drinking water, medications, communications, accessibility
needs and other site-specific requirements.
Water Planning Note: This kit includes 500 packaged emergency
water pouches and water-purification tablets. Organizations should maintain
additional emergency water supplies or an appropriate water-access plan based
on occupancy, expected shelter duration and local emergency-planning guidance.

Planning Beyond the Kit
A shelter-in-place kit is one part of a complete emergency-preparedness plan.
Consider the number of people in your facility, expected shelter duration,
available drinking-water sources, prescription medications, communication
equipment, backup power, accessibility requirements and hazards specific to
your location.
Food, water and medical supplies should also be inspected periodically so
expired, damaged or used items can be replaced before an emergency occurs.
