Description

The CMPT (Clinical Male Pelvic Trainer) Upgrade Kit from Standard allows educators to transform existing Standard Mk 2 task trainers into interactive Augmented Realility (AR) learning tools. By integrating physical models with AR technology, students can visualize internal anatomy layers overlaid on the physical trainer.

Key Features of the Upgrade

Interactive Anatomy: Overlays anatomical structures, labels, and 3D illustrations directly onto the physical trainer using the Limbs & Things AR App.
Accurate Visuals: 3D models were crafted in collaboration with digital artists and medical professionals using real MRI and CT datasets.
No Ongoing Costs: The companion app is completely free, with no recurring licensing fees required for classroom use.

Required Components

To use the upgrade kit effectively, you will need three things:

An existing CMPT Mk 2 Standard: The kit is designed specifically as an add-on for the Clinical Male Pelvic Trainer Mk 2 (available in both Light Skin Tone and Dark Skin Tone).
The Augmented Reality Mat: This acts as the anchor for the camera-enabled device to trigger the 3D visualisations.
A Camera-Enabled Device: The companion software is fully compatible with standard iOS and Android smartphones or tablets.

Mat Care and Maintenance

To ensure the mat functions correctly and lasts as long as possible, observe the following:

Always use it on a flat surface and keep it away from water or electrical appliances.
Never move the mat while a task trainer is placed on top of it.
Roll the mat up to store it with the print facing outward.
Do not fold the mat or place heavy objects on top of it.
