The Columbia Dentoform 1DGDGCA.19 Canis Exemplar is an articulated canine dental-training model featuring anatomically positioned natural-root teeth and a clear amber gingival facing. The transparent facing improves visibility of tooth-root placement and surrounding dental anatomy while preserving the gingival contours needed for realistic demonstrations.
Its articulated upper and lower jaws allow the model to be opened and positioned for hands-on veterinary dental instruction. The model is suitable for demonstrating canine dental anatomy, routine cleaning, periodontal techniques, cavity preparation, prosthodontic procedures and tooth extraction methods. Columbia Dentoform developed its veterinary models as reusable alternatives to instruction with live animals or preserved cadaver heads.
