Elective and emergency cerclage procedures to prevent pre term birth can be taught, and learnt on this cerclage simulator: a module of the PROMPT Flex Standard & Advanced Birthing Simulators.

The PROMPT Flex Birthing Mother is not included with this module.

Developed in collaboration with Dr Graham Tydeman, Consultant Obstetrician & Inventor, NHS Fife, Professor Andrew Shennan OBE, Consultant Obstetrician and Director of the Clinical Trials Unit in the Women’s Academic Health Centre, and is also Deputy Director of R&D for Guys and St. Thomas NHS Trust, and Professor Annette Briley.
