The Columbia Dentoform 1CTGU Feline Upper Gingival Facing is a replacement simulated-gum component for the maxillary arch of a compatible Columbia Dentoform Catus Exemplar feline dental model.
The pink facing fits around the upper natural-root training teeth to reproduce the contours and appearance of feline gingival tissue. It supports veterinary dental instruction involving oral examinations, periodontal assessment, tooth identification, instrument positioning, routine cleaning demonstrations and other instructor-directed procedures.
The replacement facing is intended for Catus Exemplar models equipped with gingiva, including the 1CTDG Articulated Feline Typodont, which Columbia Dentoform describes as having natural-root teeth and gingival facings. Columbia also notes that replacement gingiva and other model components are available for its veterinary teaching systems.
