Description

The Medicor Sticky Wound / Chest Tube Mix Package is a set of realistic chest tube wound simulation pieces crafted from MedicSkin®, a hyper-realistic, hypoallergenic, stain-resistant material that mimics human tissue. These sticky wounds are designed to replicate the appearance and contour of chest tube insertion sites and associated thoracic trauma, enhancing the fidelity of clinical training scenarios without requiring adhesives. The wounds adhere directly to manikins or standardized patients and can be repositioned or reused as needed. The mix package includes wound pieces in light, medium, and dark skin tones to support inclusive simulation across diverse patient representations. These models support training in patient assessment, trauma care, and procedural competencies related to chest tube management and associated wound care.
