Nasco's Racing for Health Game

A fun and easy way to teach students the benefits of an active lifestyle. Students will learn to identify four risk factors of physical inactivity that contribute to chronic diseases and they will learn ways to incorporate activity into their daily lives to avoid the negative consequences of inactivity. The game features activity and inactivity cards that ask students questions related to activity, have students demonstrate exercises, and teach what diseases can be avoided with activity. Includes a colorful 20" x 20" game board, game pieces, 66 inactivity cards (six cards for each inactivity space), 66 physical activity cards (six cards for each activity space), and one die. Meets National Health Education Standards. For 4-5 players or teams. Grades 6-8.
