Description

The Columbia Dentoform 1R1XU R-1X Upper Extra-Large Base Former is an upper-only rubber former designed to create smooth, uniform bases for large maxillary dental study casts.

The reusable former holds freshly mixed dental stone or plaster while the cast base sets. Its preformed shape helps produce a clean, symmetrical presentation base while reducing the amount of trimming and finishing required afterward.

The R-1X extra-large configuration measures approximately 3-7/8 inches wide by 2-15/16 inches deep. Columbia Dentoform states that its model-base formers are designed for quick pour-up of anatomical casts with smooth, symmetrical bases and proper upper-and-lower occlusion.
