1. Platform: Glock 45

The Glock 45 is a 919 mm Luger semi-automatic pistol designed as a crossover model that blends a compact slide with a full-size grip and frame. This configuration provides improved control and handling while maintaining magazine capacity and reliability suitable for duty, defensive, or professional use. It features Glocks proven Safe Action® system with three passive safeties and polymer frame construction for durability and reduced weight.

Key Technical Specifications (Standard Glock 45)

Caliber: 919 mm Luger

Magazine Capacity: Standard 17, optional 19 / 24 / 31 / 33

Barrel Length: 102 mm / 4.02 in

Slide Material/Finish: Steel slide with corrosion-resistant coating

This accessory rail enables secure attachment of tactical lights such as the SureFire X300 series, expanding capability for low-light operations without altering the pistols core performance.

2. Accessory: SureFire X300® Weapon Light

The SureFire X300 series is a high-output LED weapon light commonly integrated with duty and defensive handguns, including the Glock 45. These lights are chosen in professional environments for their robust construction, reliable performance, and ease of use.

Common X300 Models for Handguns

X300U-A / X300U-B (Ultra Series): Produces approximately 1,000 lumens of white light with focused beam and broad peripheral illumination. These units are built with aerospace-grade aluminum for durability and Mil-Spec hard anodized finish for corrosion resistance.

Attachment and Switching: Quick-detach Rail-Lock® or T-slot thumbscrew clamps allow attachment to Picatinny or universal accessory rails. Ambidextrous momentary and constant-on switching options support tactical activation without altering grip.

Power and Runtime: Powered by two 123A lithium batteries; typical runtime is approximately 1.25 hours depending on model and usage.

Performance & Compatibility:

The X300 series delivers intense illumination for identifying threats and maintaining situational awareness in low-light conditions.

Designed to be compatible with standard accessory rails found on many modern pistols, including the Glock 45s rail; may require correct adapter orientation for precise fit.

Note on Mounting and Fit:

Field reports indicate that fitment of the X300 on Glock rails (especially Gen5 models like the Glock 45) can vary based on rail geometry and adapter position; proper installation and verification of correct adapter position is recommended for secure alignment.

3. Combined Configuration (Glock 45 + X300)

When paired together, the Glock 45 with a SureFire X300 weapon light becomes a tactical-ready handgun system suitable for duty carry, security, defensive training, and professional applications where both firearm performance and target illumination are required. This combined configuration delivers:

Enhanced low-light engagement capability through a high-output LED weapon light integrated with a standard pistol rail.

Retained core performance attributes of the Glock 45 platform including reliability, magazine capacity, and ergonomic control.

Modular accessory adaptability for mission-specific requirements such as interchangeable remote switches, ambidextrous activation, and tactical retention systems for lights or lasers.
