Description

Blue Guns are inert training replicas only. They are not real firearms, are non-functioning, and are intended strictly for training and instructional purposes.

The Honor Defense Honor Guard 9mm Sub-Compact F.I.S.T. is a striker-fired, semi-automatic 919 mm Luger pistol engineered for everyday concealed carry and personal defense, incorporating a unique F.I.S.T. (Firearm with Integrated STandoff) frame design. This configuration builds on the standard Honor Guard sub-compact pistol but adds a frame extension forward of the slide to help keep the slide in battery during contact engagements and improve performance in extreme close-quarters situations.

Manufacturer: Honor Defense

Model: Honor Guard F.I.S.T. (often catalogued as HG9SCF)

Origin: Made in the United States; assembled by veterans using domestic manufacturing processes.

Platform and Operating System

Caliber: 919 mm Luger (9mm).

Action: Striker-fired, recoil-operated semi-automatic pistol.

Design Feature: F.I.S.T. frame the Integrated Standoff extension on the frame helps prevent the slide from being pushed out of battery if the muzzle contacts an object or assailant during firing, enhancing reliability in defensive contact scenarios.

Ergonomics and Handling

Frame Material: Black polymer with a stainless steel modular chassis for increased rigidity and durability.

Grip: Custom-designed grip with aggressive texture and two interchangeable backstraps to tailor grip fit and control.

Controls:

Ambidextrous slide catch for versatile handling.

Ambidextrous magazine release for left- or right-handed shooters.

Slide Serrations: Top and rear slide serrations improve positive slide manipulation and racking.

Dimensions and Weight

Barrel Length: Approximately 3.2 inches.

Overall Length: Approximately 6.6 inches with the F.I.S.T. frame extension.

Height: ~4.6 inches.

Width: ~0.96 inches.

Weight: Approximately 2223 ounces unloaded with magazines inserted.

These dimensions enable a balance between concealability and shootability for defensive carry.

Magazine and Capacity

Standard Magazines Included:

One 7-round magazine.

One 8-round extended magazine with larger baseplate for improved grip.

Capacity: 7+1 or 8+1 rounds in the chamber depending on magazine used.

Sights and Controls

Sight System: Three-dot low-profile sights with an orange front dot and white dots at the rear, designed for snag-free draw and rapid acquisition.

Trigger: Short, crisp trigger with short reset, promoting accurate follow-up shots.

Disassembly: Tool-less field strip without pulling the trigger enhances safety and ease of maintenance.

Construction and Finish

Slide and Barrel: Stainless steel with a black ferritic nitro-carburized finish for corrosion resistance and durability.

Chassis: Internal stainless steel modular chassis provides structural strength compared to typical all-polymer designs.

Safety and Reliability

F.I.S.T. Feature: The integrated standoff on the frame helps ensure the slide remains in battery even when the muzzle is pressed against a surface or during contact engagements, reducing the risk of slide override and improving reliability in stress scenarios.

Intended Use and Market Position

The Honor Guard 9mm Sub-Compact F.I.S.T. is designed for:

Everyday concealed carry compact size and controllable recoil make it comfortable for continuous carry.

Personal defense and defensive encounters the F.I.S.T. feature addresses potential reliability concerns at close range.

Law enforcement or security back-up weapon applications where contact firing capability and reliability are valued.
