ZOLL CPR-D-padz® Adult AED Electrodes

ZOLL CPR-D-padz® combine adult defibrillation electrodes with an integrated CPR sensor that supports ZOLL Real CPR Help®. The one-piece design is intended to simplify electrode placement while allowing a compatible ZOLL AED to measure chest-compression movement and provide CPR performance feedback.

This 8900-0800-01 package is designed primarily for the ZOLL AED Plus and includes an attached rescue accessory kit for preparing the patient during an emergency.

One-Piece Electrode Design

Unlike traditional two-piece AED pads, CPR-D-padz® use a connected one-piece design with illustrated placement guidance. The CPR sensor is positioned over the center of the chest, helping guide both electrode placement and CPR hand position.

The lower electrode can be adjusted when necessary to accommodate differences in patient anatomy.

Real CPR Help® Sensor

An integrated sensor measures chest-compression movement during CPR. When used with the ZOLL AED Plus, Real CPR Help® uses this information to provide real-time feedback on compression rate and depth.

Depending on the connected ZOLL defibrillator, CPR feedback features may vary. Always follow the compatibility information and instructions for the specific AED or defibrillator being used.

5-Year Shelf Life

ZOLL specifies a 5-year shelf life for CPR-D-padz® when stored according to the manufacturer's requirements. The long shelf life can help reduce routine electrode replacement compared with pads that require more frequent replacement.

Electrodes should still be inspected regularly and replaced after use or when they reach the expiration date printed on the package.

A rescue accessory kit is attached to the CPR-D-padz® package to help prepare the patient before electrode placement.

Adult Patient Use

CPR-D-padz® are intended for adult patients and children 8 years of age or older or weighing more than 55 lb (25 kg).

For younger or smaller pediatric patients using the ZOLL AED Plus, use ZOLL Pedi-padz® II or the pediatric electrodes specified for the applicable ZOLL device.
