Realistic to the eye and the touch, the PRESTAN® Infant Professional Manikin is unlike any other on the market. PRESTAN® manikins are uniquely designed as a clamshell and accommodates an easy-to-insert face shield/lung bag.

The PRESTAN® manikins are equipped to be used with ANY AED trainer on the market today. The manikins come in three skin tones: Light, medium, and dark, and come with or without the CPR Monitor. They come individually, in a convenient four pack, or in a Family Pack, consisting of an adult manikin, a child manikin, and an infant manikin.

PRESTAN® CPR Monitor

PRESTAN®'s revolutionary new CPR Rate Monitor allows for instant feedback to both instructor and student regarding the rate of chest compression. This allows each student to gauge their rate of compressions on their own as well as allowing the instructor to monitor several students quickly and easily.

We've had these manikins for about a month now, and have used them in 5 classes. Students and instructors really like the 'click' for the chest compressions and the CPR tempo monitors. The head-tilt/chin-lift is super easy, the nose pinches well, and its really easy to inflate the chest. I like how the legs and arms move, and they seem sturdy. We've had very positive responses in class. However, we've noticed three problems so far- 1: the instructors don't like having to 'skin' the babies in order to insert and remove the lungs. Also, the skin does not stay attached to the body well. The latches are not well constructed. 2: while the skin is fairly 'realistic' compared to other brands, it gets FILTHY. It attracts hair, dust bunnies and grime. You have make sure to wipe down the ENTIRE manikin frequently. 3: the carrying bag does not fit the babies well. They are not well protected/secured. I'm curious to see how these manikins hold up over time. We've previously used Ambu baby, but decided to try this brand as it costs half as much and all the parts seem to be replacable.
