Description

Gain proficiency in performing transvaginal ultrasound exams with our CAE Elevate Blue Phantom female pelvis models. The patented Simulex internal tissue allows learners to develop, practice and verify ultrasound imaging skills, including using ultrasound system controls, positioning and moving the transducer, recognizing internal pelvic anatomy and pathology and using gynecological ultrasound calculation packages to measure cysts, masses, and other structures. These models are excellent for 2D, 3D, and 4D ultrasonography imaging techniques. Choose from three options: General Pathology, Intrauterine & Ectopic Pregnancy, or Sonohysterographay & Sonosalpingography.

Anatomy

CAE Elevate Blue Phantom training models are constructed using our patented Simulex™ ultrasound tissue which has imaging characteristics that mimic human tissue. The models contain skeletal components so the user will encounter the same imaging landmarks as in a human patient.

The anatomy of this model includes the following elements:

• 7 week fetus with amniotic sac and placenta

• Endovaginal canal

• Bladder with bladder wall

• Cervix

• Uterus with intrauterine pregnancy

• Endometrium

• Extratuerine pregnancy

• Left and right ovaries with follicles

• Corpus luteum cyst

• Free fluid in cul-de-sac

• Broad ligaments

• Maternal bowel and colon
