The Columbia Dentoform 1MKMC210CULB is an articulated adult periodontal training model featuring soft, clear simulated gingiva, anatomically formed natural-root teeth and realistic calculus deposits. The transparent gingival material allows students and instructors to view underlying root structures, bone degeneration and periodontal defects while demonstrating or practicing clinical techniques.
The model incorporates simulated osseous and gingival defects representing multiple periodontal case patterns. Natural root contours and applied calculus provide realistic surfaces for teaching periodontal probing, instrument adaptation, scaling, root planing and cleaning techniques. The clear gingiva improves visibility of subgingival areas, furcations and supporting structures during demonstrations.
The articulated upper and lower arches allow the model to be positioned for clinically relevant instrumentation exercises. The ULB configuration includes upper and lower bushings, allowing the typodont to be used with compatible Columbia Dentoform manikin and mounting systems.
This model is suitable for dental schools, dental-hygiene programs, periodontal courses, continuing education and patient-education demonstrations.
