The Columbia Dentoform 1DGDGI Canis Exemplar is an articulated canine dental-training model featuring anatomically shaped natural-root teeth and a bone insert. Its upper and lower jaws open and close to provide practical access to canine dentition during veterinary dental demonstrations and hands-on exercises.
The natural-root tooth configuration supports instruction involving canine dental anatomy, tooth positioning and root relationships. The included bone insert provides an additional anatomical component for procedures where the relationship between the teeth and supporting bone must be demonstrated or evaluated.
Columbia Dentoform states that its veterinary models support extraction, periodontal, prosthodontic, cavity-preparation and routine-cleaning instruction. Replacement teeth, gingiva and bone components are available for the veterinary model range, and all Canis teeth are replaceable.
