The Columbia Dentoform 1MPVR2760ULBMQD is an articulated pedodontic typodont designed for preclinical pediatric dentistry education and hands-on procedural training. The model features realistic soft gingival facings and 20 removable teeth arranged in a mixed-dentition configuration, allowing students to work with both primary and permanent tooth anatomy.
The removable teeth support repeated restorative exercises, tooth preparation, morphology study, occlusion instruction and other simulated clinical procedures. Individual teeth can be removed and replaced as training assignments change, making the model suitable for dental schools, pediatric dentistry programs, dental assisting courses and laboratory instruction.
The ULB configuration includes upper and lower bushings that help secure the mouth in an open working position. The MQD configuration adapts the model for Columbia Dentoform’s Magnetic Quick Disconnect Manikin System, allowing the typodont to be installed, removed or exchanged more efficiently during laboratory sessions. Columbia’s MQD system uses magnets to permit rapid typodont interchange without removing the cranium and articulator from the mounting post.
