The Columbia Dentoform 1M865 is an articulated adult dental model developed for endodontic instruction and dental X-ray technique practice. Its upper and lower arches are connected by an articulator, allowing the model to be positioned for realistic access during radiographic and endodontic training exercises.
The model can be used to teach film or sensor placement, X-ray angulation, working-length evaluation, canal-instrument positioning and other radiographic steps associated with root-canal treatment. Its articulated format also helps students practice accessing different areas of the mouth from clinically relevant working positions.
Columbia Dentoform’s 860 Series adult typodonts feature detailed occlusal anatomy, a 30-degree condyle and an inclined Curve of Spee. The series is intended for restorative, prosthodontic, orthodontic, anatomical and endodontic education and can be adapted to compatible bench-manikin systems. Individual teeth can also be replaced for additional study or repeated practice.
