The Columbia Dentoform 1MKMC110C is an articulated periodontal training model featuring soft, clear gingiva, anatomically formed natural-root teeth and simulated calculus deposits. Its transparent gingival material allows students and instructors to observe underlying bone degeneration, root anatomy and periodontal defects while performing hands-on exercises.
The model simulates chronic generalized periodontitis with realistic osseous and gingival defects. Calculus deposits and natural root contours provide appropriate surfaces for practicing periodontal instrumentation, including scaling, root planing and adaptation of instruments around complex root anatomy.
The articulated upper and lower arches allow procedures to be practiced from clinically relevant working positions. The model can also support periodontal and bone-surgery demonstrations, extraction exercises and patient-education presentations.
