The Columbia Dentoform 1KSC2 Sliding Clamp is a replacement positioning component for articulated adult and pediatric X-ray typodonts. It is designed to hold the upper and lower jaws in an open or closed position during dental-radiography instruction and other simulated procedures.

The adjustable clamp slides along its slotted metal support and can be secured in the desired position using the integrated tightening controls. This allows instructors and students to set and maintain the typodont’s jaw opening while positioning film, sensors, or radiographic equipment.

Columbia Dentoform identifies the associated X-ray typodonts as the adult 1M1974RAD and pediatric 1M765RAD models. A replacement O-ring for this clamp is available separately under part number 1MISO.
