Cloth Masks: Cloth masks are home-made style masks you typically see people wearing while walking out in public. These masks, while not intended for professional medical use, are still highly effective in preventing the spread of harmful disease (in combination with social distancing practices) during one’s day-to-day needs and is much more effective than not wearing a mask at all.

Face Shields: Face shields, otherwise known as spit shields, are an attachment worn on the head that acts as a 2-way physical barrier preventing spit from hitting someone’s face. Face shields are commonly used with an earloop or cloth mask to create a highly effective combination in preventing the spread of mouth and nose particles.

N95 Masks: The N95 mask, also sometimes called a respirator, is named as such because it blocks roughly 95% of particles larger than the microscopic size of 0.3 microns. The N95 mask is commonly used by medical professionals due to their effectiveness in preventing the spread of germs to their patients. These respirators must be properly fitted to one’s face to reach their claim of blocking 95% of contaminants.
