CPR Savers’ mission is to ensure the health and safety of lives worldwide. We know emergency service personnel depend on the finest equipment and products and we work hard to deliver. Products we offer are used by lifeguard agencies, fire departments, hospitals, government agencies, schools, churches, CPR instructors, as well as businesses and families. Since we strive to provide the best equipment intended to save lives, when we hear back from our loyal customers the whole office glows with pride.
Recently we heard back from one of our customers where a recent emergency shook their facility requiring the use of an AED that saved the life of a comrade.
“LifePath Christian Ministries is a 150 bed homeless shelter in York, Pennsylvania. We serve our community through provision of safe overnight housing, over 100,000 community meals a year and resource connections with services in our community. In May of 2019 we recognized the need for onsite emergency medical response training and tools. We began a program to ensure every staff member received and actively renewed/reviewed training in First Aid, CPR, use of an AED and use of Narcan (Opioid overdose).
Part of this process involved purchasing two HeartSine Samaritan PAD 350P units through CPR Savers and First Aid Supply, LLC of Scottsdale, AZ. The purchase was a challenging one as the cost appeared substantial but thanks to the CPR Savers team and their efforts to partner with supporting grant opportunities, we were able to complete our purchase. One unit was installed in our Men's shelter and the other in our Women and Children shelter. A small white box and a yellow and blue package inside - our team walked by those boxes every day, knew they were there, knew how to use the tools... a quiet century standing guard.
During a Women & Children Shelter staff meeting, on a late January afternoon, one of our staff members experienced a medical emergency. Our staff did not delay, a call was placed to 911, CPR was started, and their AED was retrieved from it's cabinet. Through their training, instruction from the AED and support from the 911 operator our team stood in the gap for critical minutes while they waited for emergency services to arrive.
Thanks to the presence of our HeartSine Samaritan PAD 350P, the CPR training our team has received from CPR-Now of York, PA and the working hand of God, a life was preserved for further medical treatment. Our thanks to your team for helping one from our team.”
